TECHNOLOGY FOR LEARNING WORKSHOPS
What are Technology for learning workshops?
Has your child ever come home with homework or an assignment and you've felt unable to assist them in their learning? At J J Cahill Memorial High School we understand that technology advances at a seemingly alarming rate, and in our busy lives it can be difficult to stay up to date with all the new tools and platforms students are expected to use in their learning.
Staff at J J Cahill Memorial High School are looking to empower parents, carers and the community by running a series of workshops to develop the skills required to help students in the 21st Century, and skills which will enable you to utilise these tools in your everyday lives.
At J J Cahill Memorial High School we extensively use G-Suite for Education, which is a set of cloud-based office utilities and learning management tools. Our workshops will focus on these tools and a range of other educational websites that students will be expected to use at J J Cahill Memorial High School.
These workshops are open to the WHOLE COMMUNITY and are not limited to parents or carers of students attending J J Cahill Memorial High School. Many schools across NSW utilise the G-Suite for Education platform so whether your child attends our school or not, you are welcome to join us!
